Sylvain is starting his tenure as new Chief Conductor of the Ofunam in Mexico City with 4 concerts including works by Debussy, Berlioz, Boulanger, Ponce, Chausson, a world premiere by Victor Ibarra and Beethoven's violin concerto with legendary violinist Shlomo Mintz!

Gasançon chosen to lead Mexico City's Ofunam!
Sylvain Gasançon was named by the Ofunam orchestra in Mexico City as their next Chief Conductor. The appointment will extend for an initial term of three years from January 2023 to December 2025.

Busy months! Sylvain will tour Colombia, first in Bogota at the head of the National Symphony, then in Medellin with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the city. After very successful concerts in Germany, Sylvain Gasançon is in The Netherlands, conducting the Sinfonia Rotterdam alongside superb violinist Simone Lamsma in The Hague and Rotterdam (De Doelen). More info here
